Pretty simple concept, but it was done well. I am surprised at the durability as I figured the heat would warp it. No issues yet. Pic is after a few burns.
Got my Spark last week to try and get fires in my solo going faster (less smokey) when we have people over. 10/10 works as hoped. You do get ash accumulation in the starter, but we just dump it out when we dump our ash tray for the fire pit.
Took my spark camping as you never know about the availability of dry wood. I had a little kindling I used for the first time, but I definitely didn't need it. It easily started a few of fires with less than a bottle of alcohol (you dont have to use 10oz) which we take camping for first aid anyways. Happy with the purchase.
I got my Spark in person at a show. I would not have thought it to be as sturdy as it actually is if I had not held it in person. But it is rock solid and has no problem in hot embers for hours. Definitely worth the money to have an instant big fire, no questions asked.

I got the Spark for my backyard fire pit and have loved it. They market it pretty hard for smokeless pits, but it works really in a traditional fire pit. I can throw big logs on it and have a big fire really quickly. Also it actually is fine to stay in the bottom. I had some doubts that it would hold up to the heat & multiple uses, but no problems so far.
