Expectional quality
Each Spark is stamped out of a single piece of 16 gage 304 Stainless Steel. This is important because we value things that last. And if your going to use Spark over and over, it needs to be build out of the right stuff. We also wanted to eliminate welds, moving parts, or anything else that might wear out over time. You truly should only need one Spark to last you the rest of your life.
VERY happywith this purchase. I admit, I was a little skeptical at first. Only because starting a fire can be tricky even in normal conditions.I've now used this 3 times and each time I've had a nice fire without issues. The only thing I would maybe add/change is a small hole or attached piece for a carabineer for a backpack.
This has to be one of the best ideas since sliced bread.
I'm not sure why I didn't invent this, but it is a really nice piece of equipment to have when you're out. Camping or just sitting around a fire...

awesome product, lights easy. does it melt in a hot fire?
Thanks. And no issue with melting, we have done extensive teting with the hottest fires we can make and have not been able to deform or melt the product. This is primarily due to it being constructed of a single piece of 16 Guage 304 Stainless steel. IE its built for everything you can throw at it.
